Ana Javier (1987) is a dominican illustrator, visual artist and filmmaker based in San José, Costa Rica. She completed a visual arts degree  at The «Escuela Nacional de Artes Visuales» in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic and also complete her studies in the "School of film and TV" in Veritas University.

Her practice as a digital illustrator vary from mixed digital illustration to painting, helping her cover a diverse range of creative areas such as advertising, print, and editorial.

Ana’s work is a combination of strong and vibrants colors with a rough ink trace. She feeds her inspiration on the caribbean women and their different experiences, from daily life, aspirations and identity. 

Her art has been featured in international publications. Ana keeps working towards the interest of speaking up about the representation of the caribbean women, empowerment, lifestyle and wellness.
